We did not start
a tour company.
We are a small studio of planners, hosts, and one stubborn cartographer. We build inbound journeys for travellers who have read the guidebook and want the next layer down — the one written in dialect, drunk slowly, paid for fairly.
What we believe
Four short opinions
held quite firmly.
01
Slow over scenic
We do not chase landmarks. We chase the moment a stranger pours your second cup of tea — and means it. Three teahouses in three days, not thirty.
02
The host is the trip
Every itinerary is bound to a real bilingual local — a tea master, a hot-pot historian, a mountain photographer. They are not interchangeable. Neither are you.
03
Pay our locals well
We pay our hosts 35 – 50% above the local going rate, and post their cut in the inclusions list. We don't run an open guide marketplace. We don't take more than we host.
04
No drip funnels
You will hear from a senior planner within a day. You will get a hand-drafted itinerary in seven. If you don't book, we don't email you again. That's the deal.
Why Sichuan & Chongqing
